Ultimate Finance vs IGF

Ultimate Finance and IGF are both independent providers, but they serve different sizes of business: Ultimate Finance publishes no minimum turnover, while IGF works with businesses over £5m through asset-based lending. Ultimate Finance wins on speed (setup within one week, against 10 working days at IGF) and advance rate (up to 95%). IGF wins on bespoke structuring, combining receivables, stock and plant in one facility, and on complex turnaround cases.

The Bottom Line

If you need maximum cash from each invoice and a quicker setup, choose Ultimate Finance. If your situation is genuinely complex and you need someone to listen and find a way to make it work, choose IGF. If in doubt, get quotes from both - the one that offers the better deal wins.

Ultimate Finance vs IGF FAQ

Which gives more cash per invoice?

Ultimate Finance: it advances up to 95% of invoice value, against up to 90% of receivables at IGF. On a £100,000 invoice, that is up to £5,000 more cash (£95,000 against £90,000), although the advance you are offered depends on your debtor book.

Which is more flexible on credit?

IGF is the one built for complex cases: it lists turnaround and restructure situations among its specialisms and structures bespoke asset-based facilities, but only for businesses over £5m turnover. Ultimate Finance assesses difficult credit case by case. Below £5m turnover, IGF is not an option.

Which has a lower personal guarantee requirement?

Neither publishes a personal guarantee policy, so it is decided case by case. Ask each provider whether it needs a guarantee, whether it would be capped, and what it would cover, before you sign.
