Accessibility

Market Invoice is built for UK business owners and finance teams who want plain-English answers about invoice finance, whether at a desk or on a phone.

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We are not perfect, and we keep finding and fixing issues.

Features to help you

  • A "Skip to main content" link. It is the first thing you reach when you press Tab.
  • A site index at /site-index/ listing every public page.
  • A plain-English invoice finance glossary at /guides/glossary/.
  • The site works with a keyboard, and uses clear headings, labelled form fields and page landmarks.

Colours

We do not use colour alone to show whether something is good or bad; tables and labels say it in words too. We do not offer a second colour scheme. If you need different colours or more contrast, your browser zoom and your device's contrast and colour-filter settings work on this site.

Making reading easier

  • Use your browser zoom (Ctrl and + on Windows, Cmd and + on a Mac) to make everything bigger.
  • Use your device or browser read-aloud feature, for example VoiceOver, TalkBack, Narrator, or your browser's Read aloud option.
  • Use the site index to find a page without going through the menus.

Known limitations

  • Calculator: our invoice finance cost calculator is interactive and may not work well with every screen reader. If you need help with it, contact us and we will work out the figures with you another way.
  • Wide comparison tables: some tables have many columns. On a phone they scroll sideways, with the first column kept in place.
  • Third-party content: embedded podcast and video players, and the security check on our enquiry form, come from other companies and may not meet the same standard as our own pages.

Report a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, please tell us. Email hello@marketinvoice.co.uk with the subject line "Accessibility", or see our contact page. It helps if you include:

  • the page address (URL)
  • what went wrong
  • the device and browser you were using, and any assistive technology such as a screen reader or magnifier

If the site or the enquiry process is hard to use for any reason, our trust centre explains the extra help we can give.
