How We Are Funded

Market Invoice is a free service. We do not charge you anything to use our comparison tools or request quotes. Here is how we make money.

Our Introduction Fee

When you request quotes through our site, we introduce you to our introduction partner, eCapital, a UK invoice finance broker, which gets your quotes. eCapital pays us a fixed fee for each business we introduce, whether or not you go ahead. You pay us nothing, and the fee is not added to the cost of any facility.

Does This Affect Our Rankings?

No. Our comparison tables are ranked by our independent assessment criteria (cost, advance rate, speed, minimum turnover, contract flexibility, and specialist expertise). No provider we compare pays us to be listed or ranked. The only fee we receive is the fixed introduction fee from eCapital, and it has no bearing on any ranking position.

eCapital, our introduction partner, also appears in our listings as a provider. It is assessed with the same methodology as every other provider and gets no ranking advantage.

What Our Fee Depends On

Our fee is a fixed amount per introduction. It does not depend on which provider you choose, the size of the facility, or whether you take one, so it gives us no reason to steer you. It is never added to your costs.

No provider pays to appear in our comparison tables or reviews. Providers are there because they are active in the UK market and our readers deserve to know about them. We believe a comparison site that only features paying partners is not a comparison site: it is an advertising platform.

Why This Model Keeps Rankings Fair

Our rankings are based on six objective criteria: cost competitiveness, advance rates, setup speed, minimum turnover, contract flexibility, and specialist expertise. Every provider, including eCapital, is assessed against the same criteria.

Our fee is the same whichever provider a business ends up with, so ranking one provider above another earns us nothing. If our rankings were not honest, our comparison tables would lose credibility and users would stop trusting our recommendations. Editorial independence is not just an ethical choice: it is the only business model that works long term.

Your Data

When you submit a quote request, we share your details only with our introduction partner, eCapital, which uses them to get your quotes. We do not sell your data to third parties, data brokers, or marketing companies. Your information is used solely to get your quotes.

See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
