Who runs Market Invoice

Who we are not

Market Invoice (marketinvoice.co.uk) is operated by Best Business Loans Ltd (16833937). It is not connected to Kriya, Allica Bank or any lender.

How we verify providers

Every provider listed on Market Invoice is verified against public records before publication and re-checked when reviews are refreshed.

  • Companies House. Active filing status, incorporation date, registered office, current directors, recent accounts. We link directly to the Companies House profile on every provider review.
  • FCA Financial Services Register. Any FRN claimed by a provider is checked against the register and the activities they are authorised for. We flag providers whose FCA authorisation does not extend to the product they offer.
  • UK Finance membership. For providers claiming Asset Based Finance Association or UK Finance membership, we check the member directories.
  • Trade press and Trustpilot. Independent reviews and public filings are cross-checked against provider marketing.
  • Provider statements. Any claim that cannot be verified through public records (private pricing tiers, internal SLAs, unverified case studies) is labelled "provider statement" on the review.

Editorial independence and how we are funded

Market Invoice is free to use. Our introduction partner pays us a fixed fee for each business we introduce, whether or not a facility follows. The fee is paid out of the provider's existing margin and never increases your cost. Provider rankings are based on six fixed criteria and the fee structure has no bearing on the ranking position. The full breakdown is on our how-we-are-funded page.

Editorial standards, fact-checking, author bylines, and corrections policy are documented on the editorial policy page.

FAQs

Is Market Invoice connected to Kriya or Allica Bank?

No. Market Invoice (marketinvoice.co.uk) is an independent UK invoice finance comparison and introducer service operated by Best Business Loans Ltd (company number 16833937). It is not connected to Kriya, Allica Bank or any lender.

Are you regulated by the FCA?

Best Business Loans Ltd, the operator of Market Invoice, operates marketinvoice.co.uk as a comparison and introducer service for invoice finance. UK commercial invoice finance is not a regulated FCA activity in itself (it is business-to-business lending between limited companies).

Where we facilitate quotes from FCA-authorised providers (for example, where the funder is also authorised for consumer credit or asset finance), the regulated activity remains with the funder. We are not the lender. Disclosures appear on every provider review.

How do you verify a provider's claims?

Every provider on our site is checked against: (1) Companies House records for incorporation date, registered office, active directors, and filing status; (2) the FCA Financial Services Register for any FRN claimed; (3) UK Finance membership lists where applicable; (4) public pricing pages, T&Cs, and sample contracts where shared; (5) recent independent reviews on Trustpilot, Google, and trade press. Where a claim cannot be verified through public records, we mark it 'provider statement' on the review page.

Do you take fees from the providers you compare?

Our introduction partner pays us a fixed fee for each business we introduce, whether or not a facility follows. The introduction partner is eCapital; you pay nothing, and the fee is not added to the cost of any facility. No provider we compare pays us to be listed or ranked.

See our how-we-are-funded page for the detail. Provider rankings are based on six objective criteria (cost, advance rate, speed, minimum turnover, contract flexibility, specialist expertise); the fee structure has no bearing on the ranking position.

Are your reviews and rankings independent?

Yes. Reviews are written by our editorial team using a fixed scoring rubric. Providers cannot pay to be featured, change their score, or remove negative coverage. Every provider, including eCapital, our introduction partner, is assessed with the same methodology. Disagreements with a provider's preferred framing are common and we publish them as-is.

Who is the author of the content on Market Invoice?

Adam Parker is the author of record: founder and managing director of Muswell Rose and a founder of Best Business Loans Ltd, the company that operates Market Invoice. Oliver Mackman is the director of Best Business Loans Ltd (Companies House officer ID nJ1GY_zmn5UQ2aUceZRHppgZLpQ). The full author roster and editorial standards are in our editorial-policy page.
