Debtor Concentration Checker for UK Invoice Finance

This tool checks whether your top customers make up too much of your sales ledger for UK invoice finance providers to fund comfortably. Enter the percentage each of your top three customers represents and it returns a concentration risk rating plus the funding cap you are likely to face. At 25% or less for your top customer, most providers apply no concentration cap at all. Between 26% and 35% is rated Slight risk, with most providers still funding in full but capping around 30% per debtor. Between 36% and 50% is Moderate risk, typically capped at 25 to 30% per debtor, with the excess going unfunded. Above 50% is High risk, where most providers decline or cap heavily, and a specialist single-debtor facility or ledger diversification is usually needed.

Concentration is one input, not the verdict
“Concentration is only one factor a lender weighs. A strong, investment-grade top customer can be funded at a higher share than these bands imply, while a weak one can be capped sooner. Treat the bands as a guide, not a rule.”

What this tool tells you

UK invoice finance providers cap funding when one customer represents too much of your sales ledger. This tool shows you whether you're at risk of being capped or rejected, and what concentration most providers will accept.
