ABC Finance Invoice Finance

ABC Finance is a UK finance broker, not a lender. It describes itself as working "with businesses and a wide panel of lenders to find the perfect provider to suit your sector, turnover, and facility requirements" (ABC Finance invoice finance page). It describes itself as a "UK specialist finance broker, arranging property and business finance since 2000" and is authorised by the FCA (registration no. 304671, per its homepage). Invoice finance is one of four product areas it covers.

Because ABC Finance is a broker, the advance rate, fees and minimum turnover you get are set by whichever panel lender takes the case, not by ABC Finance itself. More detail + scope

Broker or direct? The lenders in the table above can be approached directly. Going through ABC Finance means the broker chooses which of its panel lenders to approach; it does not change the lender's own criteria. Figures in the table are indicative and should be confirmed with each lender.

What ABC Finance's Own Guides Say About Costs

ABC Finance does not publish a rate card, because pricing depends on the lender. Its invoice finance page gives these market ranges:

  • Advances of "up to 80% to 95% of your outstanding invoices", with some specialists going higher
  • Service charges usually in the range of 0.5% to 3% of invoice value
  • Discount charges typically "between 1.5%-3.5% above the base rate" for established businesses
  • Minimum turnover: providers typically look for £250,000 to £500,000, with a few specialist and fintech lenders going as low as £100,000

FAQs

Does ABC Finance lend the money itself?

No. ABC Finance is a broker. The facility, the funds and the contract are with the lender it places you with, so check that lender's terms, notice period and any minimum fees before signing.

Will my customers know I use invoice finance?

That depends on the structure. With factoring the lender collects from your customers; with confidential invoice discounting you keep collecting and customers are not told. ABC Finance arranges both.

Can I finance only some invoices?

ABC Finance lists selective (spot) finance, where you choose individual invoices, alongside whole-ledger facilities.

Our Verdict

ABC Finance is a general finance broker covering property and business lending. It can be a practical route if it already handles your other borrowing. If invoice finance is the only thing you need, compare it with an invoice finance specialist broker or approach lenders directly, since the terms you get always come from the lender.
